Bannon Associates Get 4.5, 3 Years for Border Wall Scheme
Two of Steve Bannon’s associates were sentenced for the border wall scheme after defrauding donors to a campaign to build the wall along the US-Mexican border. Decorated US Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage, 41, was sentenced to over four years in prison and Andrew Badolato was sentenced to serve three years.

The two were involved in the “We Build the Wall” crowdfunding campaign by soliciting donations using false statements and then stealing the resulting donations,” the US attorney’s office said.

The two, along with the Trump adviser, were indicted for wire fraud in 2022. Bannon, who pleaded not guilty to the federal charges and denied any wrongdoing, was pardoned by then-President Trump in his final days in office.
